Debary Country Club

Homes of Debary Country Club

Welcome to DeBary Plantation Community Association – also known as “Homes of DeBary Country Club”  This wonderful 1300 home community began in the early 1990’s as a planned unit development surrounding the DeBary Country Club and is known as the Master Association.  Within the community are five gated neighborhoods of The Estates, Fairway Hills, Hampton Hills Estates, Lakeside, and Westridge , known as sub-associations.  There are also neighborhoods in the Master Association of Beacon Club, Hammock Oak,  Hampton Hills and Quail Lake.  Quail Lake offers deeded access to a community pool association for the residents on streets with the name “Quail”.  This community captivates the imagination, whether you prefer a turnkey villa with little maintenance, night-time patrolling security and security cameras, a family friendly environment, quite enjoyment for your empty-nest years or a custom-built golf front estate with water views, our development is a rare find in Central Florida.  Upon first glimpse of the championship golf course designed by Lloyd Clifton, people are drawn to our jaw-dropping tree-lined perimeter, the walking opportunities on the streets and our front-door access to the new Spring to Spring cycling trail.  The Country Club is at the heart of our community with streets designed to create the most golf front homes.  Club life offers residents easy access to cart paths and includes amenities such as a fitness center, large pool, tennis and pickleball courts and a magnificent clubhouse to lounge on the patio watching sporting events, enjoy a meal or partake in weekly entertainment. The developer separated the country club from the community in the early 2000’s, so membership in the club is optional at this time.  Residents affectionately describe themselves as “living in DeBary Country Club”.

With DeBary being the northern endpoint of the Orlando area Sunrail commuter train station, many of our residents are city commuters who work from the comfort of a wi-fi enabled Sunrail train, transfer to Orlando International Airport or travel the I-4 corridor. There are numerous recreational opportunities being located close to the St. Johns river.  These include ecotours, prime boating and fishing,  the Gemini Springs and Lake Monroe county parks with river access, Highbanks Marina, Historic DeBary Hall Mansion, Rob Sullivan Sports park , Gateway Center for the Arts as well as Debary’s newest acquisition – Alexander Island - which will be transformed into a passive park with public access to the St. John’s River and eco-tourism activities including kayaking, fishing, biking, hiking, and birdwatching to name a few.  Whatever your reason, we are a warm friendly community and so glad to have you call us Home.
