Heathrow is the epitome of an active lifestyle community.  The centerpiece of the community is the 36 holes of championship golf divided between two well-maintained courses of Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes and Heathrow Country Club.  With two spacious clubhouses and an athletic club, members also enjoy 13 tennis courts, a resort-style pool and intimated fine dining options.  Established over 35 years ago, the community has been home to sports celebrities of Dwight Howard, Tim Raines Jr and Sr, Lee Corso, Chris Dimarco and Cliff Kresge.  Surrounding the golf course is a master planned, private gated community of 2,300 homes that is divided within the cities of Lake Mary and Sanford on the west side of I-4.  The site has a total of 3.3 square miles with .5 square miles is water, so residents are surrounded with lakes, towering oak-lined 


There are over 30 neighborhoods within Heathrow, each with their own unique style and architectural characteristics.  Each are governed by different standard.  Just outside the gates is the Heathrow International Business Center, an office park. Heathrow was founded in 1985 by Jeno Paulucci, a food business entrepreneur.  Today Heathrow is also home to the national headquarters of the America Automobile Association (AAA) and Verizon along with the new Orlando Health Hospital.  


With such lush surroundings and extensive amenities, it is difficult to imagine any home location any better than living in Heathrow.
